Lord, this is harder than it was and we are both tired. Soften whichever of us is more wrong today, and give me the grace to assume it might be me. Keep us from the sentences we cannot take back. Remind us what we saw in each other before the exhaustion covered it over. Rebuild slowly if that is what it takes, but please rebuild. Amen.
