God, the waiting is doing more damage than the news might. My mind has already written several endings and none of them are kind. Hold me in the hours where there is nothing to do and nothing yet to know. Keep me from mistaking my fear for a prophecy. Whatever the result says, be the one who is already standing there ahead of me. Amen.
